You create a lot of social media content, what type of things do you like to share with your audience?
What did it involve?

Absolutely, we're all about dropping some knowledge bombs! ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’ก On our social media, we share loads of building tips and tricks. Picture this: nifty hacks for maximizing space in your kitchen, insider secrets on picking the perfect flooring, and advice on how to get the most value from your builder.

We'll even throw in some before-and-after shots to show you the magic in action. Plus, every now and then, we spill the beans on common pitfalls to avoid during the building process.

Tell us a bit about your home renovation project?
What did it involve?

So, we recently took on this exciting home renovation project that was a bit of a passion project for us. We wanted to turn a dated, cramped kitchen into a modern, spacious kitchen that makes cooking a breeze.

We started by knocking down a few walls to open up the space โ€“ you know, that airy, open-concept vibe. Then, we dove headfirst into the world of gorgeous yet functional design. Think sleek cabinets, luxe handles, smart storage solutions, and a killer island that's perfect for both food prep and casual hangouts.

Of course, we couldn't resist adding some tech magic too. Smart appliances, fancy electrical โ€“ the whole shebang! And of course, we documented the entire 7 week journey on our socials- from the selection process to trade delays and everything in between. It's like reality TV, but with more paint cans and fewer drama queens.

Youโ€™ve used Momo Handles Belgravia range, Why did you choose these handles, where did you use it within the house and how does it fit into you overall design?

Ah, the Momo Handles Belgravia range โ€“ those handles are like the jewelry of our home! We picked them because they blend that perfect mix of elegance and functionality. We strategically placed these beauties in the kitchen, laundry and built in furniture around our home.

In the kitchen, they're like the finishing touch on our sleek cabinets, adding a touch of sophistication every time we reach for a pot or pan. And in the laundry, they bring a bit of glamour to the daily grind โ€“ who knew opening drawers could feel so fancy?

The Belgravia range fits like a glove into our overall design aesthetic. We aimed for a modern, yet timeless vibe, and these handles ticked all the boxes. The brushed brass finish adds a subtle luxe feel and the texture is gorgeous.

It's these little details that make the whole design come together.

What are your top tips for people renovating or building?

Oh, buckle up for some renovation wisdom! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโœจ Here are my top tips for anyone diving into the world of renovation or building:

  1. Plan Like a Pro: Don't rush into things. Take the time to plan every detail. The more you plan, the smoother the process.

  2. Budget Buffer: No matter how detailed your budget is, have a buffer. Unexpected things love to pop up during renovations, and having that extra wiggle room can save you stress.

  3. Prioritize Quality: It's tempting to cut corners, but investing in quality materials and workmanship pays off in the long run. You want your renovations to stand the test of time. Consider our handles as an example โ€“ sure, there are loads of cheaper imitation brass handles out there, but they tend to tarnish over time. In a bustling kitchen, durability is key.

  4. Embrace the Chaos: Renovations can get messy, both literally and figuratively. Embrace the chaos, find humor in the hiccups, and keep your eye on the prize.

  5. DIY Wisely: While it's awesome to tackle some projects yourself, know your limits. Some tasks are best left to the pros.
